Girls’ Basketball Tied Champions: Composure & Will for the Baby Lady Falcons

As the announcement of cancellation of UAAP high school events were broadcasted early before the college events amidst the global pandemic CoVid- 19; the Game Three for the Girls’ Basketball Championship that was to be held on the 6th of March,2020 was affected.


In light of the termination of the final game, the Baby Lady Falcons of Adamson and UST Junior Growling Tigresses were declared both champions. Game One upped by UST, 73- 68, and having a revenge score of 79- 74 in Game Two for Adamson—the game was proclaimed as emotional and agitating while in game.



“Lesson we learned sa first game—control our emotions. Kasi from that kind of attitude na ginawa namin sa ang pangit ng kinalabasan”, proclaimed by Coach Ewon Arayi of Baby Lady Falcons.


With athletes Crisnalyn Padilla, Joan Camagong, Charlene Carcallas, Kat Agojo, Mia Miguel, Abegail Amdad, Trina Roy, Nina Pohen, Janice Brutas, Erica Reyes, Kristel Villarba, and Beatrice Bautista. The games were described to be a battle of composing emotions, in addition to the tension and complaints arising in the games.


However, due to the proclamation of the shared honor of having both teams as champions—the Baby Lady Falcons, Crisnalyn Padilla was the finals MVP. As part of the Mythical Team, she is joined by fellow Lady Baby Falcons Joan Camagong and Kat Agojo.
