The Baby Falcon Rookie, "Jake Figueroa" crowned as the Most Valuable Player of the UAAP Season 82 Juniors Division basketball tournament.
A grade 11 student in Adamson University stands at 6-foot-2, University averaging 13.2 points, 14.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks as he guided his back to the Final Four. Figueroa is living every Filipino’s teenager’s dream and had a banner year in his first campaign in San Marcelino.
"Masaya lang ako kasi rookie pa lang ako, naipapakita ko na ang talento ko sa basketball," he said. “Binalik ko lang po lahat ng tiwala ng Adamson sa akin”, he added.
Figueroa thrived and repaid Adamson Baby Falcons by playing basketball in the best way that he can as an individual in the UAAP Juniors Division.
